They are very underrated and after a few days wear feel as comfortable as slippers but are able to tackle long hikes and everyday wear. For walking the dogs through the forest or a weekend hike on the fens you cannot buy better. With regular application of leather proofing they are water resistant and ideal for spring and summer walks and all day wear. These boots fit true to size with normal socks. If you have wider feet or like wearing very thick socks we recommend you go up a size or choose a wide fitting - the same advice for most hiking boots.
